Cherokee

The eldest of two Artists living in the south of France,
Cherokee grew up with a little sister by the name of Rococo.
From an early age he knew he wanted to be an Artist.
Largely inspired by his parents artistic styles, he grew up around Jazz, Paintings and opulence on a daily basis. An intensely gratifying environment.

A few hours from home, his father would take him on trips to the
Dali Museum in Figueras (Spain), and often introduce us to different types of art, being passionate about it himself.

Later in life, his sister studied art, while he decided to study French literature and philosophy, and then Law.

While he lost my way for a while, trying to fit in and live up to societies standards, what he didn’t know is that over time his experiences, desires, everything that he’d observe and overcome,
would then influence what he’d come to express through art and writing. That the duality of losing himself gave way to finding himself on a deep and passionate level.

Having left high-school, he knew he needed to experience pain, as a fuel he’d be able to tap into. His intention were to break his outer shell which he believed held him back from expressing his souls gifts.

He threw himself into a mysterious rabit-hole such as an Alice in wonderland scenario down which he encountered the weirdest, strangest, most painful ego shattering experiences possible, in order to find himself.

After about 10 years of testing, falling, failing, trying, crying,
screaming, experiencing the beautiful agony of life, he emerged
with a secret.

Golden Lining was born.
